Abstract
Ocular foreign bodies are a common complaint. Low-velocity foreign bodies are often easy to remove but may cause corneal abrasions. High-velocity projectiles should raise the concern for a penetrating globe injury; advanced imaging such as a CT scan of the orbits may be necessary.
