Patient with mild unilateral pes planus with tenosynovitis that was recalcitrant to all conservative treatment. Inflamed synovium is obvious along tendon, as is continuity of tendon. Loss of excursion and resultant deformity were caused by inflammatory synovial proliferation with its obstructive, painful sequelae at pulley. Radiographs were normal.
