A, Expanding intraosseous tumor of fifth metacarpal with ground-glass appearance. Cortical shell is intact and has caused deformity of fourth metacarpal from pressure. B, Partial-thickness fibular graft has been interposed after excision of osteoblastoma. Physis and subchondral cortex of proximal metacarpal have been preserved. C, Graft has remodeled 15 months after operation. Evidence of tumor is absent, and physis and carpometacarpal joint have been maintained.
