Types of Monteggia fractures. Type I with anterior dislocation of radial head and anterior angulation of ulnar fracture. Type II with posterior dislocation of radial head and posterior angulation of ulnar fracture. Type III with lateral dislocation of radial head and lateral angulation of ulnar fracture. Rare Type IV with fractures of radial and ulnar shafts and dislocation of radial head.
