A, DeBastiani technique for corticotomy. Using limited open exposure and a 4- or 5-mm drill, multiple holes are drilled in anterior half of bone. These are connected with 5-mm osteotome, which also is used to complete corticotomy posteriorly. B, Orthofix device for femoral lengthening.
