Curettage. A, Giant cell tumor of the distal femur. B, After pathologic diagnosis is confirmed, the cortical window is made larger than the tumor to allow adequate exposure. C, After gross tumor is removed with large curets, the entire tumor cavity is enlarged in all directions with a high-speed burr. D and E, Tumor cavity is treated with argon beam coagulation.
