Line A extends from anterior superior iliac spine (ASIS) through center of acetabulum to posterior aspect of fovea, dividing acetabulum in half. Line B is drawn perpendicular to line A at midpoint of acetabulum, dividing it into quadrants: anterosuperior, anteroinferior, posterosuperior, and posteroinferior.
