Standing and sitting lateral radiographs of a patient with normal spinal pelvic mobility. When the patient sits, lumbar lordosis decreases and the pelvis “rolls back,” which is demonstrated by an increase in posterior pelvic tilt (yellow line) and a flattening of the sacral slope (red line).
